Big Data is a collection of data that you cannot store or process using the traditional database system within the given time frame. There is a lot of misunderstanding while referring the term big data, we use the term big data to refer to the data that is either in gigabytes or terabytes or petabytes or anything bigger. But this does not specify the term big data completely. Even a small amount of data can be associated with big data depending on the context in which it is being used.

Data Science is the research or processing of data, which leads to meaningful insights for a person or a business. For example: Based on historic data of sales, the organization wants to predict how many sales they can make in the next month?

So, answering questions like these, need the use of Data Science.

Data Science is the examination of data, this data can also be in the form of Big Data. Hence, to sum it up, Big data is the fuel required by Data Science to arrive at meaningful insights.
