There is a chance that will the advancements in Artificial Intelligence, we are able to create self-contained machines that are capable of intelligent behavior as compared to humans and sometimes, surpassing that of humans. That is, these machines are given the exact same input as an average human is given, but they are out-performing the average human in everything in life, all things being equal.

After AI, there comes Artificial General Intelligence AGI and after that, comes Artificial Super Intelligence ASI. The main question should be how to integrate into human society. A lot of challenging issues may happen in socio-economic and political systems and we need to be changed in order to accommodate these new beings.
