What is Azure Cloud Service?

Could anyone tell me what is Azure Cloud Service?

It is a service provided by Microsoft to be able to build, test, manage and deploy web applications by hosting them on Microsoft managed data centers. Since it is a PaaS offering, one has nothing to do with problems that come along with IaaS (i.e. patching, configuring, etc.). You simply provide your application and the desired settings in the form of a package to Microsoft and based on that Azure will create VMs for you and deploy your applications in those VMs.

Azure cloud service provides a number of beneficial uses, some of them being: 

• Compute Services
• Mobile Services 
• Storage services
• Data Management
• Messaging
• CDN
• Azure Blockchain Workbench

and so many more.
