Can anyone explain why does Azure DevOps is used?

Azure DevOps is a software as a service developed by Microsoft provides services to build a DevOps lifecycle for the companies.

Azure DevOps provides the following services:

  • Azure Boards is a Kanban board that helps to assign the work and track the work, visualize, and report.
  • Azure Repos is just like GitHub but cloud-hosted repo developed by Microsoft.
  • Azure Test Planning is a tool for testing the application. This testing can be done manually or automated. For automated, it costs, it costs $50 per year.
  • Azure Artifacts is a storage unit to mainly store integrated packages.
