Can anyone explain how many amazon RDS DB instances can we use?

There are 40 Amazon RDS DB instances a customer can have running. Under the licensed model, SQL Server edition needs 10 and Oracle to need 40 RDS DB instances. MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL need 40 RDS DB instances. We can request for more DB instances if there is a need for more DB instances.
