How to create read replica?

How do I create read replica in MySQL RDS free tier? Create a replica is not highlighted, it is greyed out. Please check the screenshot:

MYSQL in aws they have modified to aurora replica which will provide high performance but need to pay for it. But for others like MariaDB, Postgres SQL. you can create the read replica.

This happened due to the updates in aws. You can use aurora read replica instead of read replica.
