Selenium grid is a smart proxy server that allows us to test against different machines, operating systems, and browsers in parallel. Selenium has 2 versions such as grid 1 and the newer version grid 2. Selenium grid has mainly two components such as hub and node. Hub accepts the commands from the client and runs them on the nodes in parallel.
