Steps to download and Install Tableau Desktop

Step 1: Open https://www.tableau.com/products/desktop in your web browser.

 

Step 2: After that, it will redirect to the page in which you have to enter your email id then click on Download free trial.

 

Step 3: By using this you will be able to download the latest version of Tableau Desktop. The file which will be downloaded is an .exe format and also you can see the downloading process in the bottom left corner of browser window.  

Step 4: Open the .exe file which is downloaded then accept the terms and conditions. Then click on Install icon.

 

Step 5:  Then you will see a pop up of asking about the Administrator permission, just click on “Yes” then installation process of Tableau Desktop will automatically start. 

Step 6: Once you completed the installation process then open your Tableau Desktop application. 

Step 7: After that Registration window pop up will come

a) Select Activate Tableau and then enter your license details

b) After that click on Start Trial now and accept the terms and conditions and click on "Install" button.

  

Step 8: Then you will be able to see the Tableau Desktop Interface.
