Can anyone tell me the typical job description of DevOps Engineer?

DevOps Engineer should be familiar with programming languages and basic Linux commands. They also have to know open-source tools and technologies to manage source codes. They should have command over IT operations and sysadmin roles. They should have good knowledge of software code testing and deployment. Also, they should have command over automation tools of DevOps. In short, DevOps Engineer has to participate in Project Planning, Development, Deployment, Maintenance and Troubleshooting, and performance management.
