Can anyone tell me what is heuristic value in Artificial Intelligence?

A heuristic can be considered as a calculated guess about the information that is actually not present in the data. When working in the field of Artificial Intelligence, there are timers when it is not possible to understand the path that the AI entity takes to achieve a goal. In heuristics, it common to only know the basic layout and the goal of the problem solution. The important thing to note is the fact that there is no way to know the most rewarding way to get to the actual goal. Common sense is used to implement solutions and simulations are run to understand if the heuristic has to be changed or not. In simple terms, it can be considered as the best guess to information that isn't available or information that isn't accurate.
