Power BI certification exam is not that difficult but learning all the concepts for the certification exam is difficult.

Power BI certification exam (Microsoft 70-778 Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Microsoft Power BI exam) will have questions on the following tasks:

  • Consuming and Transforming Data Using Power BI Desktop (20-25%) 
  • Modeling and visualizing data (45-50% weightage)
  • Configure dashboards, Reports, Apps in Power BI (25-30% weightage)

The questions can vary each time but may have formats like build list, drag and drop, hot area, multiple-choice questions, and short answers.

The Power BI certification will have over 40 questions and the passing score is 700 out of 1000.
