Can anyone tell me how to identify a DeepFake?

Several companies are already trying to create software that can identify the DeepFake. To name one, Adobe partnered with the University of California Berkeley researchers trying to create once software as such.

In general, you can look for the following characteristics to recognize deep fake:

  • Face discolorations
  • Lighting that isn't quite right
  • Badly synced sound and video
  • Blurriness where the face meets the hair/neck.
