Azure cli vs Powershell

Question

I am not able to distinguish between Azure CLI and PowerShell where to use which one?

Can anyone please help me to correctly distinguish between this two? Which tool is more efficient to use?

Choosing from PowerShell or Azure CLI is based on your background. If you are from PowerShell background and only use Windows or Linux, I would recommend you to stick with PowerShell only. And if you haven't know about PowerShell then go for Azure CLI. If you want a cross-platform tool that will work exactly the same on Mac, Windows and Linux use Azure CLI. In short terms, you can say that Azure CLI is shorter easier to remember command than PowerShell. The commands of PowerShell are quite lengthy.
