AZ-500 is a certification exam in Security technologies. And the AZ-500 syllabus includes 4 key topics that are:

1. Managing Azure identity and access
2. Manage Azure security operations
3. Implementing Azure platform protection
4. Secure data and applications on Azure

And requires you to have subject-matter expertise in implementing security controls and threat protection, protecting data, applications, and networks along with managing Identity and Access.
