If you wish to pass the CompTIA Security Plus certification exam in a single attempt, you must attempt various Security Plus practice tests before appearing for the actual examination. This will help you get an idea of the type of questions that may be asked in the exam and will help you prepare for the same.
To pass the exam, you must score at least 750 out of 900. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions, and you have 90 minutes to complete the examination.
The pace of understanding is different for different individuals. However, generally, individuals appear for the CompTIA Security+ SY0-601 exam after studying for about 30–45 days. Before appearing for the main exam, it is recommended to take up a CompTIA Security+ practice exam or test.
The CompTIA Security+ SY0-601 certification has a 3-year validity from the date of passing the examination.
