Smart India Hackathon 2025: IST First-Year Students Emerge as National Finalists

First-year students from Intellipaat School of Technology (IST) emerged as national finalists at the Smart India Hackathon 2025 held at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. Competing among 70,000+ teams nationwide, IST students demonstrated strong innovation and problem-solving skills, proving that industry-driven, hands-on learning enables national-level performance from the very first year.

Built and Flew Drones on Day 1

Students built and flew drones on the very first day of college, learning drone physics, component architecture, and hands-on assembly before flying their own custom-built drones. This reflects IST’s vision of going beyond theory training computer science engineers to start coding, building, and applying concepts from Day 1 itself.
