A perl framework for artificial intelligence?

I am searching for a good AI framework in Perl, preferred to be matured and with an active community.

MXNet is an open-source deep-learning library that helps you train and deploy deep learning frameworks. The framework allows developers to create deep learning models using several common programming languages like ++, Python, Julia, Matlab, JavaScript, Go, R, Scala, Perl, and Wolfram Language. Also, users can import deep learning models exported from Open Neural Network Exchange (ONNX) and MXNet.

Perl had AI:: FANN, the interface to the C lib that has not seen any real development since 2007, only feed-forward neural networks, no convolutional networks, no recurrent networks, all advances in the last 10 years just were happening outside of Perl.
