In Version 6, tried to get french alphabates in collection but getting special characters

we have recently migrated to Win 10 BP version6 from version5 win7, issue is when we run excel file with french alphabates in it to collection in V5 it is working as expected but in v6 in place of french alphates i am getting special charaters as "?". please let me if any 1 have answer for it.

i am not sure about the solution but try copying the excel range to notepad and see if french characters respond there
