Route 53 is a cloud Domain Name Service(DNS) web service with high availability and scalability for networking and content delivery.

The main purposes of Route 53 are DNS  registration, route internet traffic and checking health statuses.

Route 53 helps to connect your application while your domain name was searched on the browser. It sends an automated request over the internet, for checking the website availability and provides you a notification if it is unavailable so that it can be routed to a healthy resource.
