What is a business intelligence analyst (BI)?

I am in final year of my b.tech and want to become a BI analyst. Could you explain what does a BI analyst do?

BI analyst is who uses his technical skills and management skills to improve the business of the company. BI analysts are who is capable to forecast the problem and make strategic decisions. He has to be the intermediate between the data analytics team and clients. Take the requirements from clients to the analytics team. They have to get them solved by the data analytics team. After that, they have to make reports and present them to clients.
