Logging into EC2 instance

Question

I want to create a launch configuration from the EC2 instance. For that i need to enter into instance first, Kindly assist me in this:

In your case you need to enter instance using putty and try to run the command as this is a private machine you need to use one more public instance in the same subnet and try to ssh into the instance to run this command.
