Naïve Bayes classifier algorithm is nothing but a family of classifier algorithms based on Bayes theorem that are used for classification tasks and it does this by classifying the given dataset into 2 parts such as feature matrix and response vector.

These family of algorithms find its applications in new technologies like face recognition, recommendation systems, medical diagnosis, text, news and document classification and one of the most popular applications of Naïve Bayes is in spam filtering.

Learn Machine learning from its basic to an advanced level by getting yourself registered for Intellipaat's Machine learning course. This 32hrs of course could be self-paced or online instructor-led with 64hrs for projects and exercises to help you better get the required knowledge and practical exposure.

In addition to these, I would recommend you to watch our YouTube video on Machine Learning Algorithm to initiate your career.
