Changing Map Color based on parameter

Question

I am using a dashboard that shows election years across different years. I am using a parameter which has a string value parameter across different years, There are some categorical foe each one across each place in a different place which links with each parameter

I want to change the color of the map-based on the winner, Is there any way to do that?

Use filter instead of the parameter for the years and set as a one-time selection and by doing this we can select only one year and map can be colored according to that particular year
