How do i send email from Azure function app

I want to send an email using an Azure function app. Can anyone help me how I can able to send email, I have a code written in Python?

Basically, direct email is not supported by Azure due to elastic nature of public cloud. You can have it with the help on SendGrid. It is a third party application which will provide you with SMTP services.
