PDD and SDD are basically, documents in RPA. PDD stands for Process Definition Document, this document outlays the high-level flow of the manual process and is more like a user manual. PDD is provided by the end-user or a Business Analyst. For Developers, this document will act as a base from which they would design automated solutions. Whereas, SDD stands for Solution Design Document. This document contains, high-level design report, that would help you to understand how to implement the automated solution. These reports are very important and is created for every business process that is automated using RPA.

There are two crucial categories of documents in the framework of RPA-the PDD and the SDD. The PDD pertains to the description of a business process for being automated. This type of document has all types of information on process flow, inputs and outputs, key stakeholders, and the prevalent rules of business for getting synchronized all stakeholders prior to any level of automation. This represents the technical design to execute the automation. Thereby, architecture design with precise technical specification, including selecting tools as well as possible strategies on the management of exceptional situations is taken care of. Together, PDD and SDD can build business-to-technical teams communications for successful implementations of RPA.
