Doubt on using linux/window.

 I realize we will create the instance using LINUX OS what do i do if i use Microsoft instead. how do i still create the work normally.

Yes,you can work on windows as well but the only thing is you need to be well aware of the windows cmd commands. Then only you can work on windows. My suggestion is please go with linux that will be usefull.
