Is there a GUI option to view all Hadoop jobs running at the moment and their statuses?

Yes, there is much more convenient way of keeping track of you hadoop operations. YARN also provides a very well built Web UI to keep track of the hadoop jobs running in a hadoop cluster. You can access this UI by navigating to:

localhost:8088 in your web browser -  For Hadoop 3.x

The study material for Hadoop is not vividly available on external multiple sources. A hadoop certification course would really make you grasp the fundamental aspects of hadoop.
