Aws Elasticsearch VPC connectivity

Question

I have an elasticsearch domain on Aws, Its in added to VPC with a Public subnet and I have allowed all traffic in my Security group still I am not able to access the endpoint locally.

You cannot access the VPC endpoint outside the subnets you associated with elasticsearch domain. To access the endpoint locally, don't create VPC endpoint elasticsearch. Instead, Create an elasticsearch domain with internet access and you can specify whether you need to have internet accessible cluster while creating the elasticsearch domain.
