I had just installed the XAMPP on Windows - should be the newest version (XAMPP Control Panel v3.2.1).

Apache server is running just fine on port 80 and 443, but MySQL is not  getting started. When I'm clicking the start button, I am getting this message:

Attempting to start MySQL service...

Then a window pops up and asking me if I want to allow this, which I want. But  after that nothing happens. I can press as many times as I want, but ends with the same result.

What can I do with MySQL?

If you have the MySQL already installed on your windows, then go to the Services by executing "services.msc" run command or from the Start menu on your windows and right-click the MySQL file and then stop the service, now open your XAMPP and start MySQL. Now the MySQL will start on the port 3306.

If MySQL is already installed on your Windows system, it might conflict with the MySQL instance running in XAMPP. To address this issue, you can press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter to access the Services window. Look for the MySQL service in the list, right-click on it, and choose \Stop\ to halt the service. Once stopped, go to the XAMPP Control Panel and click \Start\ next to MySQL. This action should enable XAMPP to initiate MySQL on port 3306 seamlessly, allowing your Apache and MySQL servers to operate without conflicts.
