Machine Learning is a subset of Artificial Intelligence (AI) that helps various software applications become capable of predicting accurate outcomes without the need for any human interference. Machine Learning algorithms make use of past business data to train themselves and learn to predict new results based on the data provided.

Machine Learning can largely be divided into the following three categories:

  • Supervised learning: In this, professionals provide algorithms to the system with training data that is labeled, Here, they define those variables that they wish to assess for any correlations using the algorithms. Besides, the input and the output data of the algorithm are defined.

  • Unsupervised learning: In this, algorithms are trained using unlabelled data. The ML algorithm scans through business information to extract valuable data and relationships. Moreover, the data set used for training, and the predicted outcomes are pre both predetermined.

  • Reinforcement learning: This type of Machine Learning teaches machines to finish multi-step processes that have a set of rules defined. Professionals develop algorithms to complete the necessary task and give cues while understanding how to complete the task.

Mentioned below is a list of the comprehensive set of Machine Learning algorithms:

  • Supervised learning

  • Clustering

  • Model selection

  • Regression

  • Processing

  • Dimensionality reduction
