The biggest hack in history is of Yahoo! Hackers were able to compromise Yahoo’s Cyber Security, and it led to a data breach of 3 billion records. This hack is regarded as one of the biggest and largest of its size, affecting some 500 million accounts back in 2016 when it was publicly announced. The actual hack that happened two years prior is in 2014, but Yahoo’s Cyber Security team wasn’t aware of the fact.
