Both the certifications CBAP and PMP are different and also serve different purposes. CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) is for Senior Business Analysis who have 5-10 years of experience in the domain. Whereas, PMP (Project Management Professional) is for professionals who have experience in Project Management, for 10-15 years. Neither is better nor is superior to the other. Each has its own objective. If you have PMP then it will be good to have CBAP under your kitty, as times are changing, and the more skillsets you have in the coming days of automation, the better. As CBAP also focuses on developing modern-day skill sets. If you wish to get trained and skilled in Business Analytics, then check out the Business Analyst course from Intellipaat.
