MIS or Management Information System Reporting Analyst and Business Analyst’s roles are different from each other. An MIS Reporting Analyst’s job role is to collect data from existing systems, conduct analysis, then use it to compare with a benchmark or standard fixed, and then add that to aid business decisions.

Whereas, a Business Analyst's role is to gather all types of business-related data, organize, analyze, and transform it to help make informed decisions that will help in growing business effectively. If you into Business Analytics, and wish to become a Business Analyst, then would recommend you to enroll in Business Analyst training course from Intellipaat, which offers you industry-grade training with projects.
