With the advent of the Smartphone revolution, everything has changed and the world has started changing faster, more flexibly, and led to much more disruptions, and growth. Now, new technologies are making way to our lives much faster than we could anticipate. These technologies are all powered by AI. Driver-less car, hyperloop, Robots for specific tasks, bots to perform operations and as Virtual assistants keeping everything checked and organized, Quantum Computing, etc. are all powered by AI. For sure, once these technologies start getting implemented, there will be massive job losses. Because these new-age technologies require a new set of workforces, that meets the new requirements and skills to sustain your job. And the concept of perpetual learning becomes a reality, and you need to constantly upgrade yourself to better deal with these new-age technologies.

These technologies once implemented, will make our society lazier, as everything that is non-essential, repetitive, redundant will be taken over by robots. If we don’t find a way out, we will live a sedentary lifestyle in an unprecedented manner. These technologies will make us dependent on them for daily needs, our chores, and other forms of work which we will stop doing in the coming days, and thus there will come a day, where we would be lost without them. And there are so many disadvantages of the upcoming technologies that could affect us if we don’t actively take part in implementing these technologies with caution to help maintain the structure and balance of society. And discussing every single of them is totally out of the scope of this answer. So, if you are planning to get certified in Artificial Intelligence, check out the AI course from Intellipaat.
