Below are the steps to download Tableau Desktop:-
1. First you need to open the link https://www.tableau.com/products... in your web browser.
2. can see in the upper right corner in red color.
3. From here you need to enter your details like email id and then click on “DOWNLOAD FREE TRIAL” icon.
4. This will start your downloading the file which is the .exe format for Windows by default, and at the bottom left corner of your web browser you can see the downloading progress.
5. Then open the downloaded file (.exe). Accepts the terms and conditions of Tableau and then click on "Install" button.
6. Once the installation is completed, then open the Tableau desktop application from windows section.
7. Then it will ask for registration
i. After that click on Activate Tableau and enter your license details if you have activation key otherwise skip.
ii. Enter your credentials only.
iii. Click on Start Trial now and it will wait for registration to be completed.
8. Then you will see the start screen of Tableau Desktop.
9. Now Tableau is fully set to use for analyze or visualize the data.
