The AWS CLI version 1 is installed by default inside C:\Program Files\Amazon\AWSCLI (64-bit version) or C:\Program Files (x86)\Amazon\AWSCLI (32-bit version) and use the following command in the command prompt for confirming the installation. For starting the command prompt, click the start menu, and search for cmd.
aws --version
