Could someone tell me the difference between hacking and ethical hacking?

Hacking is a process of discovering the weakness in a network system and using that as an advantage to exploit and steal data or confidential and sensitive data for personal or economic gains.

Hacking also has a good side and that is called ethical hacking.

Ethical hacking is all about assessing the vulnerabilities in a network or computer system to patch up any loopholes and strengthen the security measures thus preventing cyber-attacks from happening. Its also known as penetrating into a network.
