Can we create new Search Layout in Lightning SalesForce?

Is there any possibility to create a custom search layout and assign it to a profile?

Can anyone help me with this?

Yes, you can able to create different search layout as per profile. To do that, you first need to navigate to the object page and then search for "Search Layouts". Then you can able to apply this. But, make sure that you have set the "Einstein Search" Permission set on the profiles or else it will not work.
