Configure an IOPS type EBS after attachment-AWS

Once an EBS of IOPS type is created and attached to an EC2 volume, is there a way to change its settings such as storage and IOPS? I am fine detaching it and making changes. Obviously I want to retain data.

Yes you can.

  • Right click the EBS volume
  • Click on Modify and enter a new IOPS value.
