In AWS, I see something like ECS Farget for vCPU from there we can choose from 0.25 to N values. So my question is, what is the difference between 0.25 and 1 vCPU value? Is it related to performance and the number of threads?

It basically means that you are using a shared CPU, will get the amount that you have selected just like in virtual environments. So when it says 0.25vCPU that means you get dedicated 25% of 1 vCPU.

And AWS Fargste is launch mode for ECS based on aws ec2, so vCPU and threads are the same in both AWS ECS and EC2.
