Both Google cloud storage and google drive are similar cloud storage platforms, wherein you could store your files. Now here is the difference, Google cloud storage is storage designed for taking in any kind of information ranging from small texts, images, videos, codes, to big software, backups, and other developers' needs. Whereas, Google drive is used for storing end user's files and for backing up Desktop files. Google drive offers only 15GB for the user for free, while Google cloud storage offers varying costs for the storage. While people choose Google Cloud storage for its highly scalable nature, high capacity, strong data consistency, etc. while Google drive is preferred for its ease-of-use, and collaboration, etc.

If you wish to get trained in the Google cloud platform and want to get acquire skills in it, then I would suggest you check out the GCP certification course from Intellipaat and if it suits your needs you could enroll in it, as Intellipaat’s certification has value and is accepted by 80+ MNC’s around the globe.
