There are many types of Artificial Intelligence, mainly, Narrow AI and Wide AI. To replace human intelligence, the context of Wide AI is used. Wide AI mostly consists of the goal to device a machine, which either matches human intelligence or far surpasses it to be called 'Super Intelligence.’ Artificial Intelligence systems of today are only as strong as the people programming them. However, there have been instances where machines started to learn novel things on their own and build on them. For the sake of security concerns, these have been shut down. A couple of decades from now, it is safe to say that Artificial intelligence will play a key role in replacing or even helping improve human intelligence. It is of course getting powerful day by day, and one can only think about the extent of development in the coming decades.
