You need to have knowledge of linear algebra and calculus. A Software engineer should have knowledge of C, C++, or Java programming languages, software development, Data structures, DBMS, Computer Networks. There are a lot of courses available online you can take one subject at a time and complete them.

Create a good profile on GitHub with projects and publish good work. Apply for internships or entry-level jobs in companies.
