Well, let me tell you directly at the start, that both Azure and AWS both offer very similar services and with every day, they both are slimming their differences between them. Both AWS and Azure are good at their offerings. And there really is no clear winner to decide which one is better than the other. It entirely depends on what you choose. But let me share some of the keys aspects of both the vendors that might help you in becoming more informed:

  1. AWS is the market leader in cloud services offering, features in 77 availability zones across 24 different geographical regions. AWS has a market share of 33% according to a survey. And has some of the major top-performing companies like Netflix, Spotify, Twitch, etc. adds confidence to other companies who are planning for migration.
  2. Azure is the only 2nd to AWS in terms of market share has grown very rapidly and has been offering services at a very cheaper rate, which is calculated on a per-minute basis, compared to the per-hour pricing model of AWS. Azure is the leader in a Hybrid-cloud environment. Azure has only 60 availability zones, but that is spread across 60 different geographical regions, compared to 24 regions of AWS. Azure is used by more than 95% of Fortune 500 companies, which adds credibility to the Azure users.
