Provisioned IOPS in AWS is a type of storage, or a new EBS volume type, that is aimed at providing predictable performance, and low latency consistently. This type of storage is highly optimized for OLTP (Online Transaction Processing) workload that delivers consistent performance requirements. Provisioned IOPS is designed to tune the performance of these workloads. If you are interested in learning more about AWS, check out the AWS tutorial, and check out the AWS course, from Intellipaat.
