A database administrator (DBA) is a person who manages all aspects of a database, including installation, maintenance, configuration, and security.

To become a database administrator, one requires to have the following skills:

  • One needs to possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure. They should also be comfortable working in a team environment.
