Azure Media Services Live Video Streaming download stored video

Question

Need to download a video that was live streaming with Azure Media Services, and saved as an event, is it possible to download it?

To be able to download it you'll have to run it through an encoding that is, convert from a live archive to a single mp4 file. 

Azure media service explorer is the tool that will be sufficient for you to get the asset ID and submit it for the encoding job. In the Azure portal,, you should also be able to search for the underlying assets.
