Can anyone tell me what are the problems associated with Big Data?

There are primarily two problems associated with Big Data across distributed systems:

• Hardware failure: In recent years, the storage capabilities of hardware have increased abundantly. However, the access rate at which the data can be retrieved from the drives has not evolved much positively.
• Combining data: Most analyses require combining data in some unique way. This becomes a challenging task when the data read from one disk has to be combined with the data that comes from any of the several other disks that are deployed in the distributed systems.
