Cannot ping AWS EC2 instance

Question

I have an instance running but when I try to ping the instance I am not able to do that.

Here you can add an inbound rule to your security group and

Choose Custom ICMP rule, protocol be "Echo Request" and Source could be from anywhere

Now it would be able to ping from any machine.
