Could someone tell me what is endpoint security?

Endpoint security is the practice and approach of securing the endpoints or also referred to as entry points of a network or cloud from malicious attacks. These entry points or the endpoints are mobile devices, PC, laptop, or any device in possession by the user is a gate that could be compromised by cybercriminals, to hack and enter the network systems.
